Before moving to Arizona in 2003, our family lived on a farm in North Dakota where we raised small grains. My husband, David, and I have three children. I made the choice to stay at home with my children while they were young. I loved being "just a wife and mother"! Once our children were all in school, I returned to teaching. I have enjoyed so much being back in the classroom.

I was fortunate as a child to have been raised in a Christian home. I have always felt the love of Jesus in my life and in my heart. I know that He is my Savior, and that through His grace I am saved.

I believe that I was called to teach. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, was the world's greatest teacher. I daily ask Him to bless me and to help me reach each of my students. I ask that His guidance, His compassion, His creativity, and His patience be reflected in me. My desire is that each of my students feels Christ's love and grace. I want my students and your children to be on fire for our Lord and on fire with a love for learning.
