Character Quality Traits\Anecdotes: 1. Bravery and courage- When David was a boy he took food to his brothers, who were at war. He saw a giant there who kept daring the armies of Israel to come and fight him. David fought him with just a sling and a stone, and even killed him. 2. Humble- King Saul wanted David to be a member of the royal faintly. David wanted to offer something as a payment to King Saul if he married his daughter. even though Saul did not want anything. 3. Truthful- When he would sin he not hide his sin, but would confess and repent to the lord. 4. Merciful- He had a chance to kill King Saul, his enemy, but he just cut off a piece of his rob. 5. Gracious- David's son, Absolom, took the throne by force when David was still king. David went to war with him but wanted Joab to just capture his son, not kill him |
Accomplishments: 1. David wanted Jerusalem to be his capital, but the people of Jerusalem would not let him.He searched for a way in , because the city was very strong. (that is why he wanted it to be his capital) He drained their wells and found a secret passage into the city. So Jerusalem became his capital. 2. David killed the giant Goliath with just a sling and a stone and God's help. 3. David killed 200 Philistines by him self on the battle field. 4.David destroyed the Philistines and the Amalekites, with the lords help. 5. David united Israel and Judah. |
