Timeline: 1. 1542-Mary Stuart was born in Linlithgow Palace in Scotland on December 8th. 2.1542-Mary was crowned Queen of Scotland when she was six days old. 3.1558- She married the Dauphin Francis, son of Henry the II, King of France. 4.1560- The Dauphin Francis dies. 5.1565-She married Henry, Lord Darnley on Sunday, July 29th at the Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh 6. 1567-Lord Darnley was murdered in the early morning on February 10th. 7.1568- Mary and the Earl of Bothwell married on May 19th at the Holyroodhouse. 8. Mary is beheaded by her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I, of England. |
