Character Quality Traits / Anecdotes 1. Brave - Was scared to be a Christian at a young age because of what people thought, but when she grew up she became a Christian and didn't care of what people thought by laughing or teasing. 2. Smart - was named '' The Most Smart Women in the South'' for her intelligence. 3. Nice - she answered all the questions when people asked her rudely and wouldn't quit bugging her. She even got hoarse! 4. Promising - she told them she wasn't there to hurt them but to help them and she was so nice! 5. Not a giveruper - she traveled to China on a big ship in a big hurricane. A lot of the ship was broken but she kept sailing. |
Accomplishments 1. Lottie brought the good news of God to China. Today they know God more in Tengchow, China . 2. For her bravery and devotion, after Lottie's death they came up with a offering called the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. 3. All of the offerings have been collected since 1918 during Christmas time back then until now. 4. Because of her, twenty of the fifty families in Sha - ling were coming to hear the Gospel at church - Sunday mornings as well 5. Lottie Moon was one of the first women in the south to receive a masters degree. |
