My name is Carol Horgen and I am married to Paul Horgen . We have four children.  Pets are special to our family. We have dogs and a cat. We moved from chilly Minnesota to sunny Arizona over twenty years ago. My degree is from the University of Minnesota-Mankato. I taught kindergarten for thirteen years in the Paradise Valley School District until God called me to minister at SCA. My greatest joy is to see the children's hearts grow for the Lord through the use of the Bible, music, prayer, and God's creation. I came to know the Lord as my personal Savior many years ago, even though I had always been "part" of a church. My personal relationship with Jesus is growing deeper each day. I am constantly learning new and wonderful things about Him. "The JOY of the Lord is our strength."

I enjoy music, gardening, laughing and having fun and I especially love being with my family. We are expecting our first grand baby this fall.  What a joyous time to celebrate the love of JESUS!
