“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
Mr. Goldsmith's Biography

Hi, I am Mr. Goldsmith. This is my seventeenth year teaching and sixth year teaching at SCA. Previously, I taught 4th grade in Fountain Hills School District for nine years, one year substitute teaching in Madison, Wisconsin, and another year teaching 4th grade in The Woodlands, Texas.

First, I would like to tell you a bit about my background. I was born in Dayton, Ohio and grew up in the Midwest and East. During my youth, I lived in the states of Ohio, New York, Illinois,Mr. Goldsmith  and Wisconsin.

I graduated from William Fremd High School, (Palatine, Illinois) and then University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 1991. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with concentrations in Mathematics and Computer Science, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (the Badgers). I completed my Masters of Education degree, with a major in Educational Technology, at Arizona State University in December of 1998.

My hobbies are reading and exploring the fabulous Arizona outdoors. I find great enjoyment in finding Native American cliff dwellings, petroglyph sites, and locating Ghost Towns from Arizona’s Wild West days.

I have been married for six years. My wife, Allison, is a Personal Trainer at Moon Valley Country Club.  We live in Scottsdale with our energetic Chihuahua, Ernie.

Philippians 3:12 is a verse that continues to touch me each and everyday.
“ Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”
