Mrs. Bottle's Biography

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

Hello, I am thrilled to be on staff as a 4th grade teacher for my fourth year at SCA for the 2008-2009 school season. I love the students as well as being able to spread the word of God’s love. I have been married to my husband Blake for amost 18 years. We have three children. Blake is 14 and starting High School!!!!!!, Drew is 11, and Brooke is almost 9. They love SCA too!! I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (GO STEELERS!!!) My family moved here in August of 1980. I started 8th grade in Phoenix (Shea Middle School). My husband is a native of Arizona and even though he is a Dallas Cowboys fan, I still married him. I love to scrapbook, decorate, shop for antiques, hike, run, cook, play in the snow, watch my boys play basketball, my daughter dance, go to our cabin in God's country, and hang out with friends and family. My husband graduated from SCA in 1985. I graduated the same year but from Shadow Mountain High school. I earned a BA in Organizational Communication from ASU in May 1990. I received my Master’s in Education along with Certification from the University of Phoenix in April, 2005. I have taught Pre-K and Pre-School. In addition, I was also a reading teacher for Camp Paradise Summer Camp. I have served as a volunteer for Christian Family Care Agency and Junior Achievement. The calling from God to teach His children had become stronger and stronger over the past few years so it was an easy decision to go back to school to earn my education degree. Not only am I dedicated to raising my three children that have been the most wonderful gift of our Lord, but I am dedicated to loving and teaching your children the essentials to create loving Christian adults. I consider teaching at SCA an honor and with God’s guidance; I know we will have a terrific 4th grade year.
