Hi, I am Donna Beaver and I teach 5th grade here at SCA. I am married to Jim.   We have been married almost 24 years. We are active members at North Phoenix Baptist Church.  I am on the Preschool staff and Jim teaches an adult Bible Study class for the Preschool Staff and their spouses. 

We have 2 wonderful daughters. Lauren is a senior at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She graduated from SCA in 2005 after twelve years here. We miss her terribly when she is gone, but she loves school and we enjoy hearing about all the fun she is having there.   Katie is a sophomore at Baylor University. She is so excited to follow her sister to Texas. She graduated fromSCA in 2007 after thirteen years.  It just seems like yesterday, she was bouncing into Kindergarten. 

I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Biology from Grand Canyon University.  I earned my teaching certificate from Ottawa University. I have taught and been in administrative positions for more than thirteen years.    I taught 1st and 2nd grade at SCA and loved it.  This will be my 3rd year teaching 5th grade and I love it.

Fifth Grade is such a fun place to learn.  Some of the highlights in fifth grade are field trips.  We go to Prescott Pines for Science Camp. We will also go to Junior Achievement Biztow in December, which is an unbelievable experience.  We visit the Science Center and a few other surprises along the way.
