Lunch Purchases

Scottsdale Christian Academy uses a computerized cashiering system, or point of sale (P.O.S.) in our food service program.  It works like a debit account with a “PIN”. (Personal identification number)

Each student is assigned a personal account and pin number. This number is the same number that your child uses when checking out books from the library. The student enters their pin number when making purchases. The scanner is user-friendly for kids and only used for breakfast and lunch purchases.

We encourage students to deposit money to their accounts instead of bringing money daily. This speeds up the process and reduces lines at breakfast and lunch. We suggest sending a check with the students name and or PIN number on it. This will provide you with a receipt, and help track when your child’s account is getting low. Cashiers will notify students in advance when their deposited funds are getting low. Account balances will rollover to the next year unless a written request for a refund is made.
